Given :  Bhanu answers 20 out of 25 questions correctly in the first section.in the second section he answers 60% questions correct and the total score is 66.66% in the test

To find : total number of questions in the test is

Solution:

Let sat Total number of Question = Q

mark for Each Correct answer = M

Total Possible Marks = QM

Bhanu answers 20 out of 25 questions correctly in the first section

=> Marks in 1st Section = 20M

Question in 2nd Section = Q - 25

Correctly answered = (60/100)(Q - 25)   = (3/5)(Q - 25)

Marks =  (3/5)(Q - 25)M

Total  Score   = 20M + (3/5)(Q - 25)M

= ( 25M  + 3QM)/5

Total score is 66.66%  = 2/3

=> ( 25M  + 3QM)/5QM  = 2/3

=> 75M + 9QM  =  10QM

=> QM = 75M

=> Q = 75

75  Questions

total number of questions in the test is   75  Questions
