As per the data given in the question,

We have to determine that, how much question was correctly answered by Ajay.

As per question,

It is given that,

Total number of questions = 30

As each question carry equal mark.

Let each question are of 1 mark.

So, the total mark of the paper will be =(30 \times 1) = 30

As Ajay scored 80% marks,

So, we will determine the value of 80% of total mark.

We will get the obtained mark as,

80\%\:of\:30\\=>\frac{80}{100}\times 30\\=>24

So, number of question answered correctly by Ajay will be =\frac{24}{1} = 24\:questions

So, Ajay answered 24 questions correctly.

As per the data given in the question,

In the above question, it is given that,

The test had 30 questions carrying equal marks.

Ajay scored 80% marks.

We have to find how many questions did he answer correctly.

Thus each question carry equal marks,

consider 1 question=1 mark

Therefore 30 questions will be of 30 marks

So, 80% of 30 questions.

=\frac{80}{100} \times 30\\=24

Hence Ajay did 24 questions correctly.
