Solution :-

Let us assume that, pa ss marks are x .

so,

→ Rahul score = 140% of x = (140*x)/100 = 1.4x marks .

now,

→ Varun score = 75% of Rahul score = (75 * 1.4x)/100 = 1.05x .

→ Varun score = Maximum marks - 120

→ 1.05x = 225 - 120

→ 1.05x = 105

→ x = 100 marks .

therefore,

→ Babloo score = 80 marks more than the pa ss marks = 100 + 80 = 180 marks (Ans.)
