[That is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 ]


Total number of favourable outcome = 3

[ That is 3, 4 and 5 ]


Find the probability that the number is between 2 and 6:

P(between 2 and 6) = 3/6 = 1/2


Answer: The probability is 1/2

No of favorable outcomes=3

Total no.of outcomes= 6

Probability = no.of favorable outcomes÷ total no.of outcomes

=3/6

=1/2
