In a transfomer with out any loss in power ,there are 600turns in primary and 1800 turns in secondary. Primary voltage is 40v and primary current is 0.1 A. Find the voltage and current in secondary.

we know that..

v(s)i(s) = v(p)i(p) \\   \\ now \:  \\ i(s) = i(p). \frac{v(p)}{v(s)}  = i(p). \frac{n(p)}{n(s)}  \\  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  = 0.1 \times  \frac{600}{1800}  \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   = \frac{1}{30}  amp

now...

v(s) = v(p). \frac{n(s)}{n(p)}  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 40 \times  \frac{1800}{600}  = 120 \: volt
