Area of trapezium=1\2×sum of parallel sides ×height

=>16= 1\2 × (6+ab) × 4
=> 16= 2× (6+ab)
=> 16 = 12 + 2ab
=> 16-12=2ab
=>4=2ab
=>ab=4÷2
=>ab=2cm
