GIVEN:

  • IN A TRAPEZIUM ABCD , AB||CD A = 63° and C = 124°

TO FIND :

  • B and D

SOLUTION:

I HAVE EXTENDED LINES AB , BC ,CD AND AD

SUCH THAT AD AND BC ARE TRANSVERSALS AND AB AND CD ARE PARLLEL LINES

A + D = 180° [ CO- INTERIOR ANGLES ]

63° + D = 180° => D = 180° - 63°

=> D = 117°

IN THE SAME WAY B + C = 180° [ CO - INTERIOR ANGLES]

=> B + 124° = 180°

=> B = 180° - 124°

=> B = 56°

B = 56° , D = 117°

HOPE IT HELPS !!!!
