ac = root (25^2 – 15^2) = 20

cos bad = 15/25

<bad = 53.13

sin bac = 15/25

<bac = 36.87

<cad = <bad - <bac = 53.13 – 36.87 = 16.26

Area of bac = ½ base x height = ½ x 15 x 20 = 150

Area of cad = ½ x 15 x 20 Sin 16.26 = 42

Total area = 150 + 42 = 192 square units

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

ac = root (25^2

– 15^2) = 20

cos bad =

15/25

<bad =

53.13

sin bac =

15/25

<bac =

36.87

<cad =

<bad - <bac = 53.13 – 36.87 = 16.26

Area of bac

= ½ base x height = ½ x 15 x 20 = 150

Area of cad

= ½ x 15 x 20 Sin 16.26 = 42

Total area =

150 + 42 = 192 square units
