Given :- In a trapezium ABCD ,side AB ∥ side DC. Diagonals AC and BD cut each other at O. If AB = 15, DC=10, OA=9 then find OC.

Answer :-

we know that,

  • The diagonals of a trapezium divide each other proportionally.

so,

→ AO / OC = BO / OD = AB / DC .

putting values we get,

→ AB / DC = AO / OC

→ 15/10 = 9 / OC

→ 3/2 = 9 / OC

→ OC = 3 * 2 = 6 cm (Ans.)
