Let the lengths of the two parallel sides of the trapezium be X and 2 X cm respectively.

We know that

Area of the trapezium=  21

(Sum of parallel sides) × (Distance between them)

∴180= 21

(x+2x)×12

or 180×2=3x×12

or 180×2=3x×12

or 36x=360

or x=10

∴ The sides of the trapezium are 10 cm and 20 cm respectively.

half into parallel or perpendicular 1 and 2 into height

SUm of two parallel Side is 30 cm it means ½×30=15 each get

½×(15+15)×5

½×30×5

now cut two with 30
