In a triangle ABC ,AB=14,BC=48,and AC=50.Is ∆ABC a right triangle? If yes which angle is equal to 90°

Here is ur ans -
Yes it is a right angled triangle .
Becoz AB^2+BC^2= AC^2 i.e. 14^2+48^2=50^2
Again , AC is the hypotenuse .
So, Angle ABC is the right angle .

BC = 48 & AB = 14

(AC)² = 50² = 2500

BC² + AB² = 48²+14²

= 2304 + 196 = 2500

so AC² = BC² + AB²

SO yes it is a right angled ∆

since AC is the longest side so angle B will be 90°
