The line segment joining the mid-points of two sides of a triangle is parallel to the third side and also half of it .

$i ) DE = \frac{1}{2} \times AC \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 6 \\ = 3 \:cm$

$ii ) DF = \frac{1}{2} \times BC \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 7 \\ = 3.5 \:cm$

$iii )EF = \frac{1}{2} \times AB \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 8 \\ = 4 \:cm$

Therefore.,

$\green { DE = 3 \:cm , \:DF = 3.5 \:cm ,\:EF = 4 \:cm }$
