In a triangle ABC an altitude drawn from A on side BC concides with the perpendicular bisector of BC .If AB = 5 cm ,then find the length of AC

Taking E as centre and radius equal to 3.5cm, arc is drawn to cut the circle at A.

5. AC and AB are joined.

6. AD is drawn perpendicular to BC from A to cut BC at D.

7. By measuring we find that AD=3cm.
