Answer:

AB can be 2 or 3 and AC can also be 3 or 2 respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

because area of triangle is 1 / 2 x b x h = 3

therefore , b x h = 6

and so AB can be 2 or 3 and AC can also be 3 or 2 respectively. thank you

Question:- In a triangle, ABC, angle A 90° and the area of the triangle is 3 m², where AB and AC are having integral lengths.

According to the question;

Angle A = 90°

Area of triangle = 3 m²

Now,

let AB be B and AC be H

Area of Triangle = \frac{1}{2} × breath × height

\frac{1}{2} × B × H = 3

B × H = 3 × 2

B × H = 6

Multiples of 6 are :- 1, 2, 3 and 6

  • 1 × 6 = 6
  • 2 × 3 = 6
  • 3 × 2 = 6
  • 6 × 1 = 6

hence, AB and AC can be ( 1, 6) or (2, 3) or (3, 2) or (6, 1).
