c^2 = 3721

B)

c2= a2 + b2....Pythagoras Theorem

17^2 = 15^2+ b2

289 = 225 + b2

289 - 225 = b2

64 = b2

b = 8

C)

c2 = a2 + b2

c2 = 5^2 + 12^2

c2 = 25+ 144

c2 = 169

c = √169

c= 13
