in a triangle ABC, angle C is a right angle, a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse. Find the third side if a) a= 11,b= 60
b) a= 15cm, c=17cm
c) a=5, b=12​

(c)^2 = (a)^2+ ( b) ^2.....Pythagoras Theorem

c^2= 11^2+60^2

c^2= 121+3600

c^2 = 3721

c = 61

B)

c2= a2 + b2....Pythagoras Theorem

17^2 = 15^2+ b2

289 = 225 + b2

289 - 225 = b2

64 = b2

b = 8

C)

c2 = a2 + b2

c2 = 5^2 + 12^2

c2 = 25+ 144

c2 = 169

c = √169

c= 13
