Given : in a triangle abc if angle a is 90 degree and a=5

To Find :  R( circumradius) equals

Solution:

Right angle triangle ABC , e=right angled at A

Hence opposite side = a  is hypotenuse

if a circumcircle is drawn to ΔABC

then BC = a  = hypotenuse must be diameter  of the circum circle drawn as ∠A= 90°

Hence radius of circum circle = 1/2  Diameter = (1/2) hypotenuse

= (1/2) 5

= 5/2

= 2.5

R( circumradius) equals = 2.5
