Given:

∠A+∠B = 125°

∠A+∠C = 113°.

To find:

The measure of the angles of the triangle.

Solution:

1) Triangle is the polygon which have three sides, three vertices and three angles.

2) Sum of all the angles of the triangle is 180°.

∠A+∠B+∠C = 180°-------------------(A)

3) Add the equations given in the questions.

  • ∠A+∠B = 125°
  • ∠A+∠C = 113°

=> 2∠A+∠B+∠C = 238°

Now subtract the equation A from the above equation then we get,

  • 2∠A+∠B+∠C - ( ∠A+∠B+∠C)= 238°-180°
  • ∠A = 58°

∠A+∠B = 125°

  • 58°+∠B = 125°
  • ∠B=125°- 58°
  • ∠B = 67°

∠A+∠C = 113°

  • 58°+∠C = 113°
  • ∠C = 113°-58°
  • ∠C= 57°

The measures of the angles of the triangles are ∠A = 58°,∠B = 67° and ∠C= 57°.
