In a triangle ABC right angled at A, find the length of side BC,where AB=8cm;AC=15cm

hey, mate
in a right angled trangle we can use Pythagoras theorem to find unknown side when two sides are given
so,
(bc) {}^{2}  = (  ab) {}^{2}  + (AC) { }^{2} \\ bc =  \sqrt{64 + 225 }  \\ bc = 17

ABC is a right angled triangle
Using Pythagoras theorem

BC^2=AB^2+AC^2
BC^2=8^2+15^2
BC^2=64+225
BC^2=289
BC=√289
BC=17cm
