In a triangle ABC, right-angled at C, AC = 6 cm and AB = 12 cm. Find angle A.

therefore ac becomes the hypotenuse

given that a.c.=6cm and ab= 12cm

we know cos theta = adjacent side / hypotenuse

cos 《A = AC/AB

= 6/12

= 1/2

WE KNOW COS 60 IS 1/2

ANGLE A = 60
