In a triangle abc x and y are the point on ab and bc if ax/xb=3/4 and ay = 5 and xy=9cm then whaether xy parallel to bc

There is a mistake in the question.  Given that Y is the mid point of BC in te first line. Then it is not at all possible for XY to be parallel to BC since XY and BC intersect at Y.

Please correct this and resend question
