your answer is 65°

By angle sum property
A + 50 + C = 180
A = C
2A + 50 = 180
A = 180 - 50/2
A = 65

Angle b is common....so, the triangle is an isoceles triangle understanding from the question.

If angle b = 50 degree ;

The other angles are equal i .e. a = c

180 = a + b + c (lets consider a and c same with x )

180 = x + x + 50

2x = 130

x = 65 degree

Therefore angle a = 65 degrees
