No, we cannot say that the two sides of a triangle are parallel. We can only say, for eg., a ║gram is parallel or a sq., rectangle and more. We cannot say a triangle is parallel because a side doesn't have an opposite side. Saying the triangle is parallel is false. Yes, it is applicable for every type of triangle.
