In a triangle def a,b,c, are the midpoints of ef,fd,de respectively if the area of triangle def is 14.4 then find the area triangle abc

First of all let me state this theorem

" The area of triangle formed by joining the mid points of the sides of a triangle is one fourth the area of the original triangle "

So according to this

ar(∆ABC) = 1/4 * ar(∆DEF)

=> 1/4 * 14.4
=> 3.8 cm²

Thus the area of ∆ABC is 3.8cm²
