Answer:

the sum of angles in a triangle=180

let equal angles=x

so,

x+x+40=180

2x=180-40

x=120÷2

∴x=60

so, each of the equal angles =60

verification: sum of angles in triangle=180

40+60+60=180

hope it helps. vote pls

Answer:

let the 1st angle be x⁰

2nd angle be also x⁰(two angles are equal)

(sum of three angles of a triangle is 180⁰)

therefore..

x+x+40=180⁰(sum of three angles of a triangle)

2x+40=180

2x=180-40

2x=140

x=140/2

x=70

hence the angles are 70⁰ each

40+70+70=180
