Given -

angle PQR- 80°

PR =PQ

Find -

angle R and angle Q

Note - here two sides are equal (PR=PQ),it means the Δ is an isosceles triangle which means it any two opposite sides are equal (PR=PQ) and there corresponding opposite angles are also equal (angle PQR = angle PRQ).

We know that sum of angles of a triangle is equal to 180° .

angle PQR + angle PRQ + angle QPR=180

=> 80 + 80 + angle QPR = 180

=>160 + angle QPR = 180

=>angle QPR = 180-160

=> angle QPR = 20°

So, angle QPR =20°

angle PQR = 80°

angle PRQ = 80°
