Given:

In a triangle PQR, angle Q =35 degrees angle R=61 degree ,the bisector of angle QPR cutsQR at X.

To find:

Arrange in decending order PX,QX,RX

Solution:

From given, we have,

In triangle PQR,

∠ P + ∠ Q + ∠ R = 180°

∠ P + 35 + 61 = 180°

∠ P + 96 = 180°

∠ P = 180° - 96° = 84°

As the bisector of angle QPR cutsQR at X, so we have,

So, ∠ QPX = ∠ RPX = 84°/2 = 42°

we know that: side opposite to bigger angle is longer

In triangle QPX,

∠ QPX (42°) > ∠ PQX (35°)

so, QX > PX

In triangle CRX,

∠ PRX (61°) > ∠ RPX(42°)

so, PX > RX

so, QX > PX > RX

Therefore, the arrangement in decending order of PX,QX,RX is QX > PX > RX
