Area=1/2*b*h
Let h and b be x
400cm²=1/2*x*x
800cm²=x²
20 underoot 2=x

Height is double the base
Base=20 underoot 2
Height=40 underoot 2

Sayalee07: Area of triangle ABC is given 400cm sq.

Let base be b
Let height be h
Then a/q,
h=2b..... (1)
AREA = 1/2 × b × h
400= 1/2 × b × 2b.... [using (1)]
400= b^2
b = root400
b= 20
So, Base = 20 cm
Height = 2×20= 40 cm
