Let the Base be a
Height = 2a
According to question
Area = 400 cm
b*h/2 = 400
=> a*2a= 800
=> 2a^2 = 800
=> a^2 = 400
a= 20
Base = 20 cm
Height= 40 cm
Height = 2a
According to question
Area = 400 cm
b*h/2 = 400
=> a*2a= 800
=> 2a^2 = 800
=> a^2 = 400
a= 20
Base = 20 cm
Height= 40 cm

Heya,
Given,
Area = 400cm^2
Height is double that of base
Therefore,
Base = x
Height = 2x
Area of a triangle = 1/2 × b × h
400 = 1/2 × x × 2x
400 × 2 = 2x^2
800 = 2x^2
800/2 = x^2
400 = x^2
√400 = x
20 = x
Hence,
Base = 20 cm
Height = 20 × 2 = 40cm
Hope my answer helps you :)
