In a tug of war, the rope does not move in any direction.  Why?​

Answer:

an object does not change its position if same forces are applied on it in opposite directions. it means that both sides in the tug of war are applying equal force to pull that rope. that's why the rope is not moving...

the force applied by both the team is equal then the net force become zero that's why the rope does not move in any direction.
