In a tug of war, when Team A is pulling the rope with a force of 100 N and Team B 80 N, what is the net force acting on the rope? Mention the direction in which the resultant force acts.

Net force acting on the rope=100-80N

=20N

The direction of resultant motion will be in the direction of Team A as they are pulling the rope with greater force.
