in a tug of war when the two teams are pulling the rope a stage comes when the rope does not move to either side at all what can you say about the magnitudes and direction of the forces being applied to the rope by two teams at this stage?

well if the rope isn't moving that means the forces applied by both the teams..... say team a and team b is equal in magnitude but at the same time opposite in direction.. so we can say that the resultant force is zero
