In a two digit number digit at the tens place is twice the digit at units place. If the number obtained by interchanging the digist is added to the original number the sum is 66. Find the number

Let the number is

2X×10 +X

new

X×10 +2X


According to Question

(20X+X )+(10X+2X) =66
33X= 66
X=2


So the number is (2×2×10 +2) = 42
