the ten's place digit be x
the unit's place digit be 2x.
∴The number formed = 10x + 2x
= 12x
On interchanging the digits, the number formed = 10× 2x +x
21x
According to question,
12x + 27 = 21x
⟹27= 9x
⟹3 = x
∴ x= 3
∴The required number = 12× 3
=36.
