Let digits be x and y..

so it becomes10x+y

where x+y=11... (1)

When 45 is added to it.

it becomes 10y+x

Given:-10y+x-(10x+y)=45

hence, 9y-9x=45

y-x=5... (2)

Solving equation (1) and (2) simultaneously. ..

2y=16..y=8

and hence x=11-y=11-8=3

so number become 10x+y

i.e. 10 (3)+8=38

.

.Hope it helps you.
