in a two digit number, the digit at the unit place is double the digit in the tens place. the number exceed the sum of its digit by 18. find the number?

number - sum of digits = 18

= 23 - (2+3)
= 23 - 5
23 - 5 = 18

Let the number at tens be X.
Let the no. at ones be Y
Now a two digit number form : 10x+Y.......(1)
Now according to the question.
X=2Y........(2)
So,
X+Y=18....... (3)
NOW,
X+y =18.
2y+y=18
3y=18
Y=6
Similarly 2*6=x
12=x
So the no forms10*12+6=126
