Let the 2 digit no. be =10x + y
where y is the unit place digit and x is the tens place digit.
So it's reverse will be = 10y+x
ATQ
y = 3x
2(10x +y) +10 = 10y + x
put y = 3x in the above equation
2(10x + 3x) + 10 = 10*3x + x
26x + 10 = 31x
5x = 10
x=2
y = 3x =6
therefore the no is 10x +y = 20+6 =26
where y is the unit place digit and x is the tens place digit.
So it's reverse will be = 10y+x
ATQ
y = 3x
2(10x +y) +10 = 10y + x
put y = 3x in the above equation
2(10x + 3x) + 10 = 10*3x + x
26x + 10 = 31x
5x = 10
x=2
y = 3x =6
therefore the no is 10x +y = 20+6 =26
