solution: -

let the digits be= X and Y.

ATQ, X+ Y= 8

=> X= Y -8..... (1)

number formed= 10X + Y

now according to second condition.

18+ (10X+Y) = 10Y+ X

=> 18 +{10(y-8)+y} = 10Y+ x

=> 18+ (10y-80+ y)= 10y+ (y-8)... using(1)

=> 9y - 62= 11y - 8

=> -2y = 54

=> y= -27

putting the value of y in 1.

x= 27 -(-8)

x = 35
