Let the ten's place digit = x
So unit place digit = x - 3
So we know that :
Number = 10 × tens digit + Unit digit
⇒ 10 × x + x - 3
⇒11x - 3 .........1] Equation
Sum of the digits = ( x + x - 3)
According to the given condition in question :
∴ ⇒ 11x - 3 = 7( x + x - 3 ) + 3
⇒11x - 3 = 7x + 7x -21 + 3
⇒11x - 7x -7x = -21 +3 + 3
⇒ -3x = - 15
x = -15/-3
x = 5
Now the value of x put in first equation :
∴ ⇒ 11x -3
⇒ 11 × 5 -3
⇒ 55 -3
