Answer:

39

93

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say number xy

So value of number = 10x + y

As per question

y = x^2

Interchanged number = yx

Value of interchanged number = 10y + x

So as per question

10y + x = 10x + y + 54

9y - 9x = 54

y - x = 6

x^2 -x -6 = 0

x^2 -3x + 2x -6 = 0

x(x-3)+2(x-3) = 0

(x-3)((x+2)= 0

x = 3

y = 3^2 = 9

Number = 39

Interchanged number = 93

shreya32457: I think u should solve it via given conditions ....
amitnrw: @shreya what do u mean ?
shreya32457: Means read the question the condition given is of squaring the unit's place but I have taken regular ....nothing else
shreya32457: answer is right but according to the question.....its not right
amitnrw: You better read question again it says unit place digit = square of digit at tens place
shreya32457: Means u have to take tense place as x and tense place as x^2
shreya32457: see the answer below ur answer .... he hadn't given complete ans. but the method is correct
amitnrw: Method is same dear
amitnrw: What's ur doubt ?
