Answer :

  • The number is 24

Given :

  • In a two digit , the digit at the units place is double the digit in the tens place
  • The number exceeds the sum of its digits by 18

To find :

  • The number

Solution :

  • Let the number at one's place be 2x
  • Let the number at tens place be x

The number of the x will be

》10(x) + 1(2x)

》10x + 2x

According To Question ,

Given that, the number exceeds the sum of its digits by 18 so

Sum of digits = x + 2x = 3x then ,

》10x + 2x = 3x + 18

》12x = 3x + 18

》18 = 12x - 3x

》18 = 9x

》9x = 18

》x = 18/9

》x = 2

  • The digit of ones place = 2x = 2(2) = 4
  • The digit of tens place = x = 2

Now we have to find the number

》 10(x) + 1(2x)

》10(2) + 1(2 × 4)

》20 + 4

》 24

Hence , The number is 24

Given :-

\\

  • In a two digit, the digit at the units place is double is double the digit in the tens place.
  • The number exceeds the sum of its digit by 18.

\\

To find :-

\\

  • Find the number ?

\\

Solution :-

\\

  • Let the number at one's place be 2x
  • Let the number at ten's place be x

\\

• The number of the x will be

\\

\large\dashrightarrow10( x ) + 1( 2x )

\\

~~~~~\large\dashrightarrow{\underline{\boxed{\blue{\frak{10 + 2x}}}}}
\\
  • According to the question,
\\
• The number exceeds the sum of its digit by 80
\\
  • Sum of digits = x + 2x = 3x,
\\
:\implies10x + 2x = 3x + 18
\\
~~~~~:\implies12x = 3x + 18

\\

~~~~~~~~~~:\implies18 = 12x - 3x
\\
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\implies18 = 9x

\\

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\implies9x = 18
\\
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\impliesx = \large{\sf{\frac{18}{9}}}

\\

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\impliesx = {\cancel{\dfrac{18}{9}}}
\\
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\implies{\underline{\boxed{\purple{\frak{x~=~2}}}}}

\\

\therefore Hence,

\\

  • The digit of one's place = 2x = 2( 2 ) = 4

  • The digit of ten's place = x = 2

\\

  • Find the number ?

\\

:\implies10( x ) + 1( 2x )

\\

~~~~~:\implies10( 2 ) + 1( 2 × 4 )
\\
~~~~~~~~~~:\implies20 + 4

\\

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:\implies{\underline{\boxed{\pink{\frak{24}}}}}
\\
