according to first condition,

x+y=8 ... (1)

according to second condition,

10y+x+18= 10x+y

10y-y+18= 10x-x

9y+18=9x

9x-9y=18

x-y=2 .. (2)( dividing by 9 to both sides)

by adding (1) and (2) ,

2x=10

x=10/2

x=5

x-y=2

5-y=2

5-2=y

y=3

original number=10y+x

=10*3+5

= 30+5
