in a two house 60 w electric bulb are lighted for 4 hours and 100w bulb for 5 hours everyday calculate the electric energy consumed in 30 days​

Answer: 44.4 kwh

Explanation:for bulb one

60 w for 4 hour in 2 house =60×8w per day

= 480w per day

In 30 day= 480 × 30

=14400 w

Change it into kwh= 14400/1000

= 14.4kwh

For other bulb

100w per day for 5 hours=100×5 w

Int two house = 100×5×2

=1000w per day

For 30 day = 1000×30

=30000w

Change in kwh= 30000/1000

= 30 kwh

Add both

= 30+14.4

= 44.4 kwh

{ We can say it 44.4 unit also}
