Answer:

Lets take the two digit number as 10x + y

x + y = 8                     --------------------------- 1

10x + y + 18 = 10y + x

9x - 9y + 18 = 0          --------------------------- 2

we get the value of x from equ . 1

x = 8-y

Now we substitute the value of x in equ . 2

9 ( 8-y ) - 9y + 18 = 0

72 - 9y - 9y + 18 = 0

90 - 18y = 0

18y = 90

y = 90/18

  = 5

We know from equ.1 that x + y = 8

x + 5 = 8

x = 8-5

  = 3

The number is given as 10x + y

By substituting the values of x and y ,

10x + y = 30 + 5

            = 35

Hope it helps:)
