480 students do not have an imobile or a blueberry

Given:

60% of students have imobile

30% of students have blueberry

15% of students have both imobile & blueberry

there are 1920 students

To Find:

Number of students who do not have an imobile or a blueberry

Solution:

Having imobile A = 60%

Having blue berry B = 30%

Having Both (A ∩ B)  = 15 %

Having Either imbolie or a blueberry (A U B)

(A U B) = A + B - (A ∩ B)

(A U B) = 60% + 30% - 15%  = 75%

not have an imobile or a blueberry = 100% - (A U B)

= 100% - 75%

= 25%

Calculate 25 % of 1920  = (25/100) 1920  = 480

480 students do not have an imobile or a blueberry
