To find :

i] Original number of cattle in the village

ii. The number of cattle sold off

Let's Assume :

the total number of the cattle in the village was 'x'.

Solution :

i] total percentage of cattle who died and sold off = 6%+18%+28% = 52%

remaining = 48%

so, 48% of x = 3264

=> 48/100 * x = 3264

=> 48x = 326400

=> x = 326400/48

= 6800

so, total number of cattle = 6800

ii] total percentage of cattle sold off = 28%

so, total cattle sold off = 28/100 × 6800

= 1904
