In a village all farmers have grown a same type of crop. What are the disadvantages of this practice?

the main disadvantage for this practice is that the nutrients required for that particular crop will get demolished in the soil and this next things they have to use fertilizers for the same

The disvantages are :

@ If the crop got infacted by any disease all the crop of village got ruined

@ Water inavailability

@ More production = Less rates of selling etc.
