In a village, Bhimsingh and Sukhalal contested an election, Bhimsingh won the elections - by 1638 votes securing 57% of the total cast. If 10% of the total voters did not vote on the Election Day, then how many voters are there in the voting list?

Step-by-step explanation:

among 100 ,10 did not vote so rest=90 out of which 55 won by bhimsingh and rest 35 got for sukhul.so diff of vote between both batches is 20. so for 20 diff he won by 2000 so for 100 percent how much?

2000*100/20=10,000 total votes .so out of which one won by 55 percent cal i.e.,55*10,000/100 then we get=5500.for 35 percent we get 3500.
