In a yard there were chicken and rabbit together they had 14 heads and 44 legs. How many chicken and how many rabbit was in the yard.​

Then no. of heads = X+y=14

no. of total legs = 2x+4y = 44

X+2y -x-y =22-14

Y = 8

So there are 8 rabbits and 6 chickens
