Correct Question:-

In a year, Seema on ₹ 1,50,000 and saves rupees ₹ 50,000. Find the ratio of

a) Money that Seema earns to the money she saves.

b) Money that she saves to the money she spends.

Correct Answer:-

First, we will solve part (a).

a) Money that Seema earns to the money she saves.

Seema earns = ₹ 1,50,000

She saves = ₹ 50,000

  = \sf{ \frac{150000}{50000} } = \frac{15}{05} = 15:5

Now, we will find the ratio of money that she saves to the money she spends.

(b) Money that she saves to the money she spends.

Seema saves = ₹ 50,000

She spends = ₹ 1,00,000

as, 100000-50000=100000

 = \sf{ \frac{50000}{100000} } = \frac{5}{10} = 5:10
