Answer:

Seema earns = rs 1,50,000

saves = 50,000

spends =?

spends=earns - saves

= 1,50,000-50,000

spends=1,00,000

i) required ratio = \frac{150000}{50000}=\frac{150000\div50000}{50000\div50000}=\frac{3}{1}=3:1

50000

150000

=

50000÷50000

150000÷50000

=

1

3

=3:1

[HCF of 1,50,000 and 50,000 is 50,000]

ii) required ratio = \frac{50000}{100000}=\frac{50000\div50000}{100000\div50000}=\frac{1}{2}=1:2

100000

50000

=

100000÷50000

50000÷50000

=

2

1

=1:2

[HCF of 50,000 and 100,000 is 50,000]
